The world is both a big place, and a small place all at the same time. An interesting contradiction. Here at Thairelocaiton.com all of our staff have lived at some point in several countries. We do not hire staff that have never been overseas.
Suffice it to say that we've seen many places in the world, and it is hard to find a country that can compete with Thailand on so many levels. Thailand is not perfect, but it sure beats many other places in the world. Here is our look at why you should consider Thailand as your next home. Let us make it happen for you!
the Nightlife
Its no secret that nightlife in Thailand is off the hook. There is something for everyone. The waters get very deep here though, for the bright eyed and bushy tailed. Keep your wits about you, enjoy the time and you'll do just fine.
the Food
Fresh, flavorful, spicy, sweet, you name it. What's not to like? And, its still priced very reasonably! You can find Thai street food in any gas station food court, and eat like a King for B 100 (sometimes less). In fact, eating out in Thailand is cheaper than buying and bringing home to cook! How convenient is that?!
the Weather
Would the idea of 365 days of sunshine appeal to you? Yes, we do get a rainy season, but that just cools things off for a month or so. We have spent time in the winter in both NY and Boston, and we have no issues with Thai sunshine.
the Safety
Did you know that we also get CNN here in Thailand? :) Yes, we watch the news routinely and recoil whenever we see another ho hum mass shooting. Thailand is very safe in this regard, gun violence is mostly unheard of among the Thai and foreign community. In fact, all foreigners are prohibited from gun ownership too by the way.
the Culture
Your stay in the Kingdom will be enriched beyond your imagination if you learn a bit about Thai history, culture and ideology. A strongly Buddhist nation, the country is easy going, fun and seriously developed. While years ago "up country" meant a trip to the backwoods, nowadays the provinces in Thailand are on par with many U.S. states.
the Geography
When it came time to hand out geographic locations in the world, Thailand hit the lottery. Not only can you find cool weather in the north, and hot weather in the south, Thailand is the epicenter of ASEAN and Asia. China to the north, Singapore to the south, and Japan to the east. Logistically you cannot find a better location.
